The Magnolia Mansion Estate is a beautiful wedding venue located in Providence Forge, about 30 minutes east of Richmond Virginia. This venue offers lodging for the Wedding Party and includes a covered space for the reception. The trees around the alter make for a gorgeous location to say I do. The lighting is perfect for any time of day which is a huge plus. There is no shortage of great photo opportunities at this estate. From the balcony and the porch, to the amazing tub, it really is a dream.

Amanda and Johnny’s Wedding Day

Amanda and Johnny were such a sweet and easy going couple. Their wedding day truly felt like a fairytale. They could not have chosen a better wedding venue. They had space to enjoy preparing for the day and relaxing with their loved ones. October is a wonderful time for a wedding. The weather was absolutely perfect for a fall day. The sun was shining, it was not too warm or too cold. Arriving at the venue the very first thing I do is get photos of the outside.

The bridal suite was alive with energy, blasting a lively pre-wedding playlist. As the excitement unfolded, I gathered the items needed for the detail photos including the rings, shoes, jewelry, and more. Next I returned to the bridal suite to check back in with the bride and her party.

My next focus was the dress. Carefully photographing it to highlight its elegance. With that done, I turned my attention to a few fun, candid moments as the ladies laughed and prepped for the day. After wrapping up in the bridal suite, it was time to check in with the groom and groomsmen. Naturally, I found the guys gathered around the pool table, enjoying a lighthearted moment before the festivities began.

After getting a few images of the groomsmen I take a walk around the venue, taking pictures of everything that the couple has put in place. The signage, the alter, the special reserved seat at the alter, the reception area, the cake, the cocktail area. Every detail that the couple has put in place I want to take photos of for them to remember. As the timeline progressed, I maintain communication with the bride and groom, ensuring to capture everything they imagine as well as all the things they didn’t think of.

The Magnolia Mansion has lodging for 18, multiple places for your dream alter, a covered outdoor reception space, catering prep kitchen, 100 + car parking lot, cantina for buffet, fire pit, pool, and a game room. There is enough space for 200 guests. The venue reminds you of a picturesque countryside, while the indoors reminds you of a Victorian style. The entire estate is gorgeous!
